Flow Adventure Company (Flow Co.) was founded by Athenaeus Silverberg as a way to bring those from all walks of life together to help make the world a better place. Headquartered in an abandoned academy on Vylbrand, Flow Co. welcomes all, regardless of race, religious views, nationality, personal identity, or history. As long as there is a desire for camaraderie, adventure, and helping those in need along the way, everyone has a home at Flow Co.!

The FC's goal is to provide a place for people to gather to enjoy Final Fantasy XIV, whether it be through RP, content, or community. New and veteran players are welcome! While there is more emphasis on the content side of things, both RPers and Non-RPers are welcome in the FC. We're a new FC and are currently recruiting new people with regular RP and content events (maps, mount farming, variant/deep dungeons, etc.) to come!As an adventurer's company, our stories will range in themes from light-hearted fun to deep, thought-provoking scenarios. While we won't dive too heavily into dark/mature RP stories, we'll certainly dip our toes in it. Because of this, we do ask that all characters and players be 18+!

Application Process

The purpose of the application is to have a little background detail on your character prior and to collect information for our roster page. To join Flow Co., please review our guidelines below before continuing to the application.

  • All Players and Characters must be at least 18 years of age - While this FC isn't directly focused on dark/mature themes, we'd rather be safe than sorry and require all players and characters to be 18+. If we find that you are not at the requested age limit, you will be asked to leave.

  • Event Attendance - We'll have a regularly scheduled recurring event each month. While everyone has things come up to cause them to miss, please plan accordingly to attend. If you need to take a break one night or need a long-term break, feel free to reach out! We can always work something out with you.

  • RP and This FC - Even though Flow Co. has content-centric events, those who like to roleplay are encouraged to do so! The FC is set up with areas to gather, if desired.

  • Traditional RP Rules Apply - As many say, IC does not equal OOC. However, there is certainly some gray to that sentiment. People invest time and energy into their characters and drastic changes require communication and planning with all parties. Make sure to talk things over with your RP partners to make sure you are always on the same page!

  • Traditional Social Rules Apply - This FC is a safe space for members of the LGBTQIA+ community and its allies. With that said, certain topics such as religion, politics, and certain current events can spark heated conversations, debate, and even hostility or name calling between people. Please refrain from openly discussing controversial topics in public channels. Also, respect people's requests to change/move a topic. While it may come off harsh, keep in mind that the person asking may feel as equally uncomfortable.

MogSpace

What is MogSpace?!

MogSpace is our IC social network! It's a place for people to post photos of their character with some in-character context. Just follow the steps below and you'll be a pro!

  • Create a Username - Create a fun username for your character! It can be anything you want. Does it say something about your character from a visual standpoint? Maybe it's reflective of something they like!

e.g. Elyria's area of expertise is different disciplines of magic. Her Username is ✨MagicalGirl007✨

  • Make posts by typing your Username in bold followed by some sort of action (or comment)!

e.g. ✨MagicalGirl007✨: So excited to take a vacation in Costa del Sol!

  • MogSpace works just like what you see on real life social media sites like Twitter, Instagram, FaceBook, MySpace, etc. If you've seen posts there, you can make them in the MogSpace channel of the Discord!

The Sealed Door to Room 14

There is a curiosity about the old academy that Flow Co. took over. It involves the tale of a door that remains ever sealed. In the Hall of Ever Expanding Chambers sits a door marked XIV. Well, for those who had been around to see it, the door had once been marked with the number. Touching the door is like being gifted with the Echo to see glimpses of the past. All who have touched it talk about a Miqo'te Seeker named R'nita Rasi and the laughter she gifted to all who knew her.Sadly, R'nita's story came to an end. Though never seen by the receiver of the visions, it was understood by the sorrow that swept their senses. Was it the door telling them the story? There was an over the shoulder look, with a big smile and laugh as the vision fades away, returning to that door. A golden light filled cracks in the wood as a beautiful painting of lilies in the water suddenly covers the door with words written on the pad.Farraige Síoraí
Eternal Sea

On January 3, 2022, the FC lost a dear friend to illness, R'nita Rasi, Alvadr Blacke, or as we knew him out the game, Kahn. R'nita's private chamber door, Room 14, is locked. In memory of Kahn, this room has been added to our Free Company's lore so that we may always see it and remember the joy he brought to us in and out of the game.Rest easy, friend, in that eternal sea.
